Palmer Motor Sports
Palmer Motorsports Park is a club racing circuit in a picturesque spot in Hampden County, Massachusetts which opened in 2015. Built near to the towns of Palmer and Ware, the circuit sits atop Whiskey Hill amid lush forest scenery. Built within 658 acres of a former logging property, the circuit swoops and falls around the contours of the land to create a true driver's circuit. While boasting modern safety facilities, the track still has an 'old school' feel about it and is a popular venue for New England road racers.
During your stay at Bird Hill Farm you can enjoy an early morning stroll in the beautiful Grenville Park right next door. The park offers 2 handicap fishing piers, a picnic pavilion, 6 picnic areas, a playground area for the kids, 2 miles of oil/stone roadway, walking trails leading through 80+ acres of woods along the Ware River, Winter walking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and sliding and opportunities for bird-watching and wildlife viewing. Grenville Park is open year round.
Your visit cannot be complete without a visit to the Quabbin Reservoir. Few places match the magnificent scenery of the Quabbin Reservoir. The Quabbin Reservoir is known as one of the most beautiful and serene places in New England for walking, hiking, biking and picnicking. Bird watching and photography are other popular activities, since the reservoir is home to many varieties of birds. The variety of fish also means that the Quabbin is a great place for fishing. However, fishing is only allowed during the fishing season from April to October.
